Re: OT - DOGS

Its my understanding this term was used by TB hybridizers when the falls were
extended like a panting dogs tongue.  I'm sure it wasn't because of hating
dogs.  Now it really isn't very appropo for rounded forms of siberian irises
but I guess it ia a universal term now.  Anna Mae Miller, Kalamazoo MI zone 5
