Faintly indecent sounding, though, I must say.
I had thought of rousing myself from the empathetic depression engendered by
the phrase "rejected vegetable matter" to propose these poor plants might be
called "culls" but since that is almost French for "neck" I thought we might
then be treading on the toes of the hick population.
