<< Back in 1973 or 1974, my husband introduced an award winning Siberian Iris
called "Night Breeze." At that time he was the youngest ever licensed judge
for the AIS.... Through the years and due to circumstances he has lost access
to that plant... I can't find it listed anywhere commercially. Would any of
you folks by
chance have Night Breeze in your collection? >>
Evening, Eleanor,
I'm pleased to tell you that NIGHT BREEZE is available from Busse Gardens in
Cokato, MN and also from Ambrosia Gardens in Canada. This last is the new name
of fellow I-lister John Montgomery's nursery, now run by Leroy Kreise.
Now, Ms. Ainee Buss does not list this in the catalog, but it is on a private
list she has sent me. Call her to inquire at 1-320-286-2654, or fax1-
320-286-6601.
Mr, Kreise may be reached by e-mail at ambrosia@silk.net He is very helpfula
nd he will ship to the USA but if you are on this side of the border you may
find it more feasible to order fom Ms. Busse.
Please mention this office in discusions of this subject with these two
sources. If neither of these work out, please let me know and I will
investigate further. It is a pleasure to help you connect back up with your
iris.
