While  the normal climate here in Ohio is similar to what you describe (with
occasional snow cover lasting only a week-10 days at most), this winter
would make answering your question difficult. There have been enough freezes
to kill leaves or heavily damage them, but we have been much above normal
temps. The result is a lack of total dormancy that we normally reach. I have
250 TB as well as medians and dwarfs, and could not categorize any of them.
Our sage meteorologists say we are due to return to our normal cold late
this week, so I am breaking out the Bermuda shorts. Maybe next winter .....
