OT:walking iris

Claire, Duane, Bill, Dennis and anyone else who responds while this
thank-you is making its way through cyberspace -- I appreciate very much
your kind responses, and am sure I now will be able to give it the care
that it deserves. My friend dug it from her garden, where she describes
it as being "like an orchid", so I suspect that it will be on the blue
side.

Griff Crump, along the tidal Potomac near Mount Vernon, where some older
TB varieties are showing about 3" of new growth and a cherry tree was
photographed bloomimg in Washington. What will the rest of winter be
