The RHS Color charts (4 colors per fan with 202 fans) no color description,
just numbers 1A, 1B, 1C, !d ---202 D. Each hybridizer describes the color in
his or her color terms and yes there is a difference. One time I had members
of our group used to using the Color say what colors were pink and there was
quite a difference of opinion--#1 the pinks lean toward lavender. We were
talking about pink Siberians, trying to figure out which was pinkest. Men
tended to think the lavender shades were pink than women. I haven't followed
the crayola thread. I was away for 10days and am still trying to catch up
with the Iris-l e-mail and do my thing. AIS used to carry these but they are
not listed now. So I guess that would mean getting them from the RHS of
London. Probably on a trip or a friend might be able to pick them up at
Wisley. Anna Mae Miller, Kalamazoo, MI zone 5
