OT: Night-Bloomers, now Vespertine Iris

Okay, I know there are no strictly night-blooming iris, but there are
certainly iris that show up beautifully right after sunset and up until
nearly full dark, so they could be a welcome addition to a vespertine (wow!
a new word--I like it!) garden. Many of the paler whites, blue-whites, and
lavenders pick up the late light well, but there are some special ones,
notably some of the arilbreds (Sharon, jump right in here!) are outstanding
in this regard. Sharon's GHOST DANCER got its name for this reason, thought
unfortunately it never bloomed in my garden before it died, so I never got
to see it. But some of the others with blue standards (I can't go look them
up right now, as all my records are stored while I'm tiling the bedroom,
which is taking a while) have bloomed here, and their soft glow in the
evening is enough to make one jump for joy. Carefully, of course, so one
doesn't stumble over something in the gathering gloom.
