We've been having beautiful weather. The unguicalaris has nine blossoms
open today! But the TBs are acting as if they know it's still winter. The
danfordiae and reticulata are just now popping up. Is this because the
weather hasn't given enough chilling? I'm pleased to see them hold off,
but am wondering why in other areas they seem in such a hurry. Does richer
soil or more fertilizer provoke growth sooner or is it solely dependent on
the weather?
