Probably because of different persons perceptions. Look at all the
controversy we had over color; fragrance would, IMO, be even more
complicated.
Maybe Libby Cross can give us some input. I believe she acquired Louise
Smith's documents on fragrance. Are there still fragrance robins out
there?
