To any and all of you who know Dorothy, She is terminally ill with
cancer. According to the doctors, she has less than 6 weeks left. Dot
(as many know her) has been in the Iris Society since 1967. In the years
she has been involved, she has buried two husbands, grown over 1,200
irises at one time, and has earned her Judges certificate for Irises,
roses, and daffodils, along with becoming a master gardener.
She belongs to the Fort Worth and the Dallas Iris Societies, and will be
dearly missed. Personally, she started me in both also. If any of you
would like to send her a card, her address is:

She has been around the world a few times, and can remember each and
every garden and gardener she has ever met and been in. We all will miss
her.
