Actually, larger than you think, Amy - 3000 square meters is equal to
32,291.6 square feet, or just a shade under three-quarters of an acre. If
laid out as a square plot, its dimensions would be 180 x 180 feet. Allowing
2,291.6 square feet for house, driveway, garage, and other superfluities
and 4 square feet per clump of iris, Gunnar has enough room to build his
collection up to 7,500 varieties. (-:
