Well, my stalk of TEA LEAVES has the flowers still in their sheathes
starting to brown and lose water. So I don't know if they will open at
all! We haven't had any freezing weather since I noted the stalk, in
fact has been mild & nice.
I lost a bud/immature stalk on one of my new plants (would have to look
it up -- it's a one-word name, but I can't remember it right now) -- and
there was only one fan on the rhizome, so I guess no bloom this year and
it'd better increase.
I suppose that the deformities might have been caused when the stalk was
still way down in the plant -- but in the case of TEA LEAVES, the
branching is PERFECT. It's only that the bud tips are withering and
turning brown. Should I cut the stalk & bring it in to maybe open?
