Curt and I just took a 3-day trip to Washington, DC and the Smithsonian
museums. We went specifically to see the current Sackler Gallery exhibit
titled "Twelve Centuries of Japanese Art from the Imperial Collections". We
also revisited the Freer Gallery. Both have a number of screens and
paintings with iris. Their gift shops have copies of some, though most were
"Out of Stock" at the moment. I know these aren't the "originals" you are
seeking to buy, but they sure are gorgeous.
