Check the native iris page. I believe there is also a page that gives the
distribution of plants in Florida. The books I was able to check do not
record Iris veriscolor south of Virginia. It probably would be important
to get material from the Florida populations, if possible. Plants
originating further north may have trouble making it through the Florida
summers or may have a chilling requirement.
