Not me. The Australian currency is down against the US currency, so the price
is approximately 49.50 for the book AND shipping. I became disenchanted with
B&N when I went to ask if they had it...and as the saleslady was waiting to use
the computer, the phone rang. The other saleslady who was using the computer
answered the phone, and then told whoever was on the other end "Hold on a
minute, I'll go check on that right away," and then put the receiver back on
the phone, and continued using the computer for another couple of minutes. But
it was the smirk she had on her face...which I saw... that made me think that
this was not a bookstore I wanted to be getting MY Christmas presents from.
And, yes, I know that this lady doesn't work in every single Barnes and Noble
bookstore...but it's starting to look like that's the official company
mentality.
