Cult: Iris Foetidissima seeds

I am also one of those going through the drudgery of moving :-(
My Iris Foetidissima has two types of seed pods. The fat green ones contain
the berries and seeds along the ribs. The other types are dried husks with
seeds only. These plants are so sensitive to sunlight I am hoping to save
some seeds instead of trying to transplant.
Advise anyone?
