HI all,
Just had to share my joy at that second (or third if you consider rebloom)
most joyous time of year...the arrival of one's iris order!!! Since I'm
moving,
it's so marvelously simple to do that pottin' up routine compared to the
digging and potting of current clumps. Although I must admit, along with
new arrivals, I'm re-"starting" some of my collection as if they were newly
delivered (dividing/trimming roots).
In particular, the brand spanking new Hidden Acres have outdone their
iris-selves with some gorgeous huge rz and copious extras (thank you bigtime
JB). I'm certain they'll be a big success! Of course the also copious
amounts of rain we're getting today and possibly through monday
will mean not much even gets potted up...do need that 1/3 of garden soil
and 1/3 sand and it's not so easy to handle wet.
By the by, the most glorious dark PBF on VANDA SONG, which was a Keith
Keppel extra!!
