I've seen a couple of commercial growers who routinely raise their TB
stock in
pots so that people can buy them when they're blooming. I've bought them
that way. I think they'll do fine until they outgrow the pots. We're
zone 5:
-20 to +100+. (One nurseryman near here raises daffodils the same
way--in pots,
so that people can buy them in bloom. He used deep mulch over the pots in
winter. Don't think you'll need to do that.) Good luck.
