Hello Friends,
First I would like to thank everyone for their help with my new iris bed. In
response I have the soil test kit handy and the Peonies will be moving only
3-4 feet. Hopefully that will be okay with them. As for the reason for the
move, it's only too obvious as I look out my window. The bed they are in is
about 20 feet long, 10 of which is shaded from early morning sun (5 AM) .
That exact 10 feet bloomed beautifully this year and the other 10 feet did
not. Go figure! It was really strange looking. I can't even argue that they
were different plants as I had mixed the bed with white and red alternating
from the same 2 clumps.
The run away Iris will be checked and thanks for the tip. My husband has
been forgetfully mowing it down for several years now.
I would also like to ask about spuria iris and where on the web I might
purchase some at a later date. I'm afraid I spent all my allowance at
Cooly's. If I don't get back to you later today I'll be heading up to New
Hampshire International Raceway to feed workers this weekend and will miss
the talk tonight. I'll be looking forward to it next week though. Have a nice
weekend all.

BTW: Did you buy that new car yet?
If not, check this site out.
They're called CarsDirect.com and it's a pretty sweet way to buy a car.
