OT: iris-list lurking

I want to reply concerning iris lurking and will do it in 3 posts to try to explain my own reasons for lurking.
First , thank you for being here for me. I have 3 beds of iris. One is 20'x20' and is full of iris from Judy Eckoff and John Bruce. I never would have known either had it not been for this site. They are beautiful in bloom, and I only had experience with TBs. These are Standard Dwarf Bearded. I have the bed backed with Lilies of the nile which bloom later than the iris. I have a Japanese Iris bed 10'x35' and my TBs are planted in a bed shaped like a new moon with the outter edge being 44' long and the center width being about 30'. We call it the iris bed because they dominate the plantings there.
I 've gotten iris from others too. I 've found suggestions of good catalogs and sources and used many of these. Perry Dyer has a marvelous catalog and I just ordered$189.OO of iris and daylilies from him. They are very healthy and doing nicely in my beds. These two plants do not share the same beds in my garden. I keep my daylilies in a bed to themselves or in the daisy rose bed.
I have used Iris City Gardens, Ensata Gardens, Woodland Iris Gardens, Rainbow Iris Farm and Suttons....No doubt will use others suggested here.
I love Bill Shear's book and I already owned Fritz Kohlein's book. I look forward to aquiring Currier McEwen's The Japanese Iris. I enjoy hearing about Loyd Z. since he is in NC and I love some of his irises. I could go on and on about my pleasure in lurking but.....
I have learned much and will learn more if I may be allowed to lurk. I stay busy in my garden in what spare time I have from a full time job and caring for aging parents, and sick husband. I have 4 married children and 2 grandchildren.
Enough for one post , Huh?
