Hi,
I agree with many of the comments made by other lurkers. Personally, I
am much more active in the peony group than either of the iris groups to
which I belong. I notice some active iris people are less active in the
peony group.
Having less to offer and not many immediate questions is the main
reason to listen/lurk. I do learn from the groups in which I lurk and
would contribute when appropriate.
I can manipulate the archives although I often think that this type of
resource is badly organized for many people. Unfortunately, it is not
easy to change.
I do not like the use of subject headers in the rigorous fashion that
the iris group tries. This is not used in other groups and I would scrap
it. I recognize that others love this system.
Lurkers, like me, enjoy and learn -- thanks to all the contributors.
