I see messages of gardeners getting ready for Spring blooms. It's
Off season for blooms, in my part of the World. Crafting is the next
thing to do. I started to make the 'Seed Bead Iris' yesterday. It's
going to take awhile to make. Notice that it is made from SEED
beads. Want to guess how small these beads are. TINY. I went with
6mm beads to get a larger bloom. It takes 240 purple and 36 yellow
beads to complete a bloom. If you use the seed beads you will get a
miniture bloom, about 2 inches tall. The 6mm beads, I believe will
be closer to the actual bloom size. They make 8mm beads, so you can
go bigger if you like. Or for the sake of your eye site.
