There are just about as many variables in digital images
as there are in film prints, and the technology is less mature.>
But the really nice thing about digital for me is seeing a variety of
amateur & pro photos in different parts of the country under different
growing conditions of the same cultivar - & if the picture doesn't match
what folks think it really looks like, we get feedback which is helpful.
Plus, if it's picture is taken all over the country, I know it tolerates
a range of growing conditions. Catalog photos tend to be much more
idealized. So in that sense, Walter, maybe the suite of photos is
'perfect' <g>
