Wendy
Dare I tell you it was 20-22oC in Perth last week. Everyone acted like they
were going to die when it got down to 6-7oC overnight, hats, scarves, great
coats etc. Finished work early on my last day and had a wonderful walk in
Kings Park. Found the Banskia garden for the first time. For those that
don't know, King's Park is a huge botanic garden of Western Aust flora,
magnificently set on a hill overlooking Perth city and the huge Swan River.
Some things make so much travelling for work, a lot more acceptable.
Caught up with Ann Pearce also. She's doing quite well.
Here its been fine and frosty, about -1 overnight and 17oC during the day.
WIll need some rain soon.
My reticulatas are just popping through. Slugs have been nibbling the tops.
Hate using much slug bait as I'm worried about hurting our large frog
population.
Bought a lot of PCN seeds fron Ghio and they're all starting to germinate
along with the first of my SIGNA seeds. They sibs always come up first.
