Hi all,
Cluelessly, I called the number listed for Larry Harder,
in ROOTS, to tell him I'd just priority-mailed 29 historics
to him, for the HIPS rhizome sale.
I spoke with his mother -- she said he "should be OK" but
will be hospitalized a couple of weeks. She said he was
wanting to do the HIPS sale stuff, from the hospital!,
but sounds like they aren't letting him. She *was*
writing down lists of who had sent rhizomes, to tell him.
She said she was just gathering all the shipments of
rhizomes, and would hold onto them, "someone will get
to it!" at some point.
I wished her son great good luck and speedy healing,
and told her I was sorry they were having this emergency.
She sounds like a real nice woman.
