I'm wondering if they have earwigs in Australia. If not, I'm sure they are wondering what kind of beasties wear wigs on their ears. :-)

    Dear Donald,
The thought did cross my mind.. I did imagine actually bagging the manure
and indentifying it as what source cow it came from, then I got ridiculous,
angus heifer manure, jersey cow manure,, holstein ginormous waddies, the bag
names could be endles...And I rolled around chuckling at the alfalfa/lucerne
comment. Here's a bit of trivia, Did you know that here in Aus, our alfalfa
is a type of bean sprout/shoots that we eat in a salad...Now that is
different...And thank you to the person who defined the reason for why steer
manure is labelled such.I am learning new things each day :) All I know is
that cattle manure is the best diet for my beloved JIs...Cheers everyone,
from Wendy Sargeant, wendon@dcsi.net.au, Zone 8sih Aus, where all the Wendon
Holsteins and Jerseys are calving,, may we have lots of heifers....
