Re:What to do with your IRS Refund

Hi listers--
I would like to emphasize what John Jones and Anner said--about using your
tax refund to buy a Life Membership in AIS..Several years ago--when the dues
were going to be increases in a couple months--I sent in our
membership--dual-three years--Marilyn called and said " you would only have
to pay $???more for life memberships"--so I did--and it is great!!!!!
never have to get a bill for membership--and misplace the bill and then
loose judgeship 'cause you hadn't renewed--(This really happens)--you get a
membership card--which has gotten me a discount at a couple Nurseries--"are
you a member of a plant club?"--'yes--here is the card-'-''O>K'>-"10%
discount on anything not on sale--" that is nice!!!!
plus--you always know that the Bulletin will arrive--who knows when--but it
usually does make it--
I also belong to several sections--and it is miserable--remember to look at
label for expiration date of membership--so, o.k.--I go dig through the
garbage to find the envelope--and yikes--it was a couple months
ago--now--remember--who do I send it to? How much is it?--getting tired of
that routine--
So--think about your rebate as something quite special--not to spend on food
or clothes or anything else like that--treat yourself to a Life Membership
of AIS--and you will be glad that you did!!!!!!
