I also very much concur with an AIS Life Membership. I have one and I
am on my way to Life Membership in at least three other sections. (I
am already a L.M. of the Society for Siberian Irises). I found out at
the convention that I had inadvertently let my membership in the
Japanese section run out and had not gotten the last Review (SJI
Bulletin if you will). I think that I have SIGNA (species group) and
Dwarf groups and also the Median group to pay this year.

So think about also Life Membership in at least one section or
cooperating society of AIS. They need your support... without the
sections and coop. societies where would AIS be? I feel sure that the
membership secretaries would be happy to work out a plan or schedule
for a Life Membership just like the AIS membership secretary would
work with you on L.M.

Zone 3 - where Walter Moores has informed me that 85 degrees is not to
be considered hot. ok - felt pretty darn hot on my back as I was
planting new orders today. The Mississippi Man has been advised that
we tundra dwellers feel warm when the temp goes ove
