OT:PLANTS: TB companions

Our bearded iris show wasn't much to brag about this year due to some weird
weather swings but it's definitely gotten me interested in companion plants
again.

I'm looking for suggestions for smaller bulbs (something to give some color
to the beds before and after the main show) since most lilies don't seem to
care for the growing conditions in these beds. So far Camas, Poppy anemone,
and Calochortus have proven to be ideal.

Any other suggestions?
