First thing I would offer is the URL of the American Iris Society
which is:
http://www.irises.org/
Go and explore all the links. I would guess that virtually all of the
answers to your questions can be found there. Those that can't can be
answered by the iris-talk members. We have some pretty darn smart folks out
there!
This is just SO much information available at the AIS site. .
