Hey, I didn't know Poem of Ecstasy was supposed to rebloom! First year in
my garden, big fat rhizomes, one excellent stalk in May. I had already
decided it was the best of the peach/pink over lavender kind of bicolors I
had seen, and now two very strong stalks are rising up in 95-degree July
weather. Its only competition right now is the magnificent Double Dribble
and a Mariposa Skies that might bloom out due to weak increase. Too bad
there; I love neglectas and am still looking for one with good garden
habits, true blue color, and somewhat modern form.
Gotta comment on Louisa's Song again. No bloom right now, but those
rhizomes seen to be getting fatter every day. About the size of a mango
right now; I've never seen anything like it in my garden. I usually get the
egg-sized ones.
