oops!  I didn't read the article, just skipped to the part about drying
& stratifying.  You are correct.  Who cares about beardless <g>.

Thanks Walter.  The first ones I shelled out a few weeks ago already
look pretty dry, but they may not have been fully mature, unknown how
that might affect after-ripening/drying.
