It is very rare that we get a subject that has not been talked about
before. That does not mean that it would not be instructive (and fun) to
discuss it again. We continually get new members and the concomitant new
perspectives on things. You never know where that great idea is going to
come from.
I always hope to get a new thought about subjects that we have discussed
before. It is one of the things that makes this group so wonderful.
There may be occasions that someone may suggest the archives be searched
on a subject. It may be that they can't remember all that was said or
don't have the time to research it themselves to provide the answer to a
question asked. No one should the suggestion that as a put down.
