Connie, I have planted iris rhizomes in mid-September when the temperature in the shade was 110 and the gournd was so hot it almost burned my hands, and they did just fine. Go ahead and plant them.

I received the first of three orders over the weekend. I have also
read that planting the TB rhizomes in extreme heat is not good, yet
the reblooming TB need to be planted as soon as possible so they
can "possibly" bloom this fall. So, when do you guys plant your
reblooming TB?
I am in zone 7 of Virginia where we finally received about a quarter
inch of rain, yesterday!
