Clealy, Bill, you just like the wrong iris. You need to pick your favorite
iris by more logical criteria:
1)Iris which have been most widely promoted/distributed to convention
gardens.
2)Iris introduced by recently deceased hybridizers whose iris were never
worth noticing before.
3)Iris matching the color of an old-time AIS judge's favorite tablecloth.
4)Iris with really pretty names, or named after famous people.
5)All iris introduced in widely distributed glossy color catalogs.
6)Any Dykes medal winner, because "it must grow well for somebody, somewhere
else in the country".
