CULT: TB: REB: Gold Burst vs Sunny Shoulders; Eternal Waltz; etc

Hi Linda,

I use to grow both Sunny Shoulders and Gold Burst. I found Sunny Shoulders to be a more healthy and vigorous plant. I don't recall the branching, but Sunny Shoulders stuck out in my mind as a much more showy iris. (I live in Southwestern/hot/dry/summer monsoon climate)

I too have grown Stepping Out 2 different times now and it is struggling again for me after it's third year. It'll kill itself off by next year I'm sure. I'm thinking Eternal Waltz may exhibit some of Immortality's healthier genes, yet it still has the possibility of giving it's offspring some of its other parent's (Stepping Out) undesirable traits/genes as well. (If this was the direction you are thinking of pursuing).
