There was a great opportunity for judges in Region 24 to get training at the recent
AIS Convention in Memphis, TN.
Each February at Horton State Park near Lewisburg, TN, there is another
opportunity to get training. It is sponsored by Region 7. Notable AIS instructors
from afar are flown in for this event. It's a short drive up the Natchez Trace.
Each September in Region 7, quite often in TN, there is another opportunity
for getting judges training.
In Region 22, at Searcy, AR, on August 2 and 3 of this year the Morrises from
St. Louis will be giving a JT school.
So, there really are a lot of opportunities nearby, and I know of no finer
people on earth.
I let those more proficient than I do the classroom training, but I have never
refused garden training to anyone. I tutored one at the Memphis Convention
and had two whom I trained last year. I even went to one apprentices's home
on two occasions to help this person get their credentials. So, you see I
really haven't retired at all.
