Betty,  That is SO SO true. Nothing like an actual flower to help 
sales, we sell a lot of potted iris, even older ones, if they are in 
bloom. However the lists people make at shows often don't work out to 
well as the particualr varieties may not be at our rhizome sale. It's 
not good to dissapoint a customer. If only we had fewer varieties and 
more time (we collect rhizome the day before the sale) to make up a 
list perhaps we could make pictures for our sales. We do have general 
picture albums but they often do more harm than good as the "public" 
always wants the iris in the picture that we don't have...
