Laurie,
This is encouraging news for a guy who wants to grow 1/2 breds here one
day. Oyez is reputed to grow just about anywhere but has limited
fertility. I believe that Volunteer Fireman is its the only introduced
child.

I put my seeds in the fridge for 120 days in moist towels, them pot them
and transfer them to the garden when they're 4 to 6 inches. It's easier
to keep track of them this way. Good luck !!

Well ya better do something about it if you still want a few pieces of
Devonshire Cream :-) This one actually has too many buds, many of them
triple sockets with large to huge flowers. This should win some awards
because it isn't just another yellow and it isn't just another white,
it's a fab cream and VERY popular here with visitors.
I don't know if you have Holy Fire or not but it is also a great iris,
put Mesmerizer to shame. Large nicely formed flower with day glow
orange red beards with white horns. Nice...

I'm still trying to decide where to plant this year's seedlings.

Well than I guess you don't actually need the potato after all. Your
seeds were very small and shriveled but they germinated just fine. Good
to know this. I have a pod that fell off of Vanity X American Eagle
that's surviving in a sweet potato at the moment. The potato has cuts
in the bottom and is sitting in a bowl of water. So far so good.
