Hey Chris,

Indeed! I was stunned to find any at all alive this year, but I still
have 5 ABs alive and kicking out of 16 last fall.

I might just do that, assuming this one pod makes it to maturity and
actually holds any viable seeds inside.

AARRGGHH! I wonder if a call to my ISP would make any difference. I'll
give it a try. In any event, I'm thrilled to know some of my seeds
germinated for you. Did seeds from both crosses (or, more correctly,
seeds from both directions of the same cross) germinate?

I'm sorry to hear that. Perhaps we should continue to collaborate. I'll
make crosses and send you seeds. You germinate and grow them. ;-) Of
course, that would restrict you to the handful of TBs that'll actually
survive and bloom here, unless you'd like to try growing Sibs and dwarf
beardeds from seed.

Not if you're referring to mine. I didn't use a potato to mature my
broken pod. I just placed the stump in a tiny vase of water that I
changed daily until the pod split.

KL tried to die last year and did die this year in my garden. Funny plant
here. When it wasn't rotting, it was growing like gangbusters. It never
did get around to blooming, though.
