I have to come to the defense of Riverview Iris Gardens, from whom I've always had good service and good stock.  Their rhizomes sometimes are not very large--they live in hot, dry Idaho and the rhizomes don't always grow to giant size--but they've always grown as well as any biggies from the west coast, produced bloom just as soon.  I don't deny Nancy's bad experience, and I can't tell you what went wrong or why the service has not been up to snuff.  I only can say things have always been well for me in every way.  I didn't happen to order from them this year, but based on my own experience I would not hesitate to order again.  Sorry you had such a bad time, Nancy, and I hope things get straightened out to your satisfaction.
