Cult: Of Ants and Rhizomes

My last post today - I promise. I was wandering around my
garden today (too hot to do much more than wander) and took
a look at the base of TB Kelat Skies. Although it didn't
bloom this year, the rhizomes look healthy and robust.
However, I noticed a mound of *ant dirt* around the rhizome
and upon closer inspection, noticed ants roaming between the
leaves and the rhizome (Ant dirt being the tiny little balls
of dirt they make their hills out of).

These are the standard red house ant - not fire ants or
carpenter ants. Should I be worried?
