CULT: Critters

I am having " critter " problems. The squirrels are digging the newly
planted rhizome up, sometimes carrying them off. I have been able to find
them so far. I planted tomatoes for them to eat. They also chewed on several
pods and carried some off. They were happy with the tomatoes and were not
digging iris.
That is until the lizard showed up. The roofers working next door saw a 3
ft. green lizard carrying a 4 in tomato in its mouth. I think the squirrels
are mad because they have to share the tomatoes. Or could it be the young
raccoon or young ground hog I saw recently are sharing to. Then there is the
opossums. Deer not a problem only have seen one in the alley behind house in
many years.
Glad I live in the middle of town instead of out in the country where all
the wild life is.<G>
