Sorry, I am just catching up on this one.  While you (currently) have to
take training on show judging to become a judge, I don't think there is
requirement that you judge shows once you are a qualified judge.
On-going training requirements do not specify Show judging training.

I would also agree that in some shows the judging is *atrocious* and too
many judges let their personal favortism intrude on the process. All I
can do is do the best I know how and try and educate others that more
than tall bearded can win the Best Specimen of the Show (BTW, Queen of
the Show is not a correct appellation).
