LOL - Do the rosarians assign sex characteristics to

Back to irises: I used the term "Queen of Show" when
judging this season and was loudly corrected by
another judge...but who really cares?? Thinking why
aren't the runners-up called: #2 Best Specimen and #3
Best Specimen, etc. to follow the 'logic'....
*Surely, Best in Show is preferable to the specimen
appellation. Still like Queen tho'....
