Hi K-
This year my Brown Lasso & Thornbird were vividly beautiful ... and I
attributed it to the fact that they received only early morning sun and
setting sun. When they were in full sun all day I was disappointed with the
color. Had a 2 1/2' R.R. tie re-
taining wall built - backfilled with good soil; then, had a large shop built
above and back from the wall and thought, "Oh No...the iris in this "Winner's
Bed" won't receive enough sun"! I was pleasantly surprised...all of them
were much nicer, with no fading.
