RE: iris DIGEST V1 #26

Don:

I know I really value iris digest AND iris photos. Have you ever done
an estimate on the # of users and what would happen if everyone donated
$10, $20 or $50? But I never know quite what to donate. I "think" I
donated around $50. Some things I take into consideration are: how
often I will use it, how much it costs and how good is the information.
I don't really use the digest that much but I go to photos every day. I
don't use the checklist data thru the AIS site very often, but when I do
it is invaluable.
(I also buy the checklists from the AIS Storefront). The online
checklist is certainly worth the $10 fee/year.

I don't know if this is any help, but I need a little help from you on
amounts a person should consider donating. I know one would hope to get
more from persons with more resources, but....the age old question:
what is fair, reasonable, affordable.

Thanks for providing these sites for us. They ARE a great resource and
I for one want to see it continue. Also I can't remember when I made my
little donation - I have trouble keeping track of such things. IF I win
the lottery, you won't have to worry about donations, I promise!!! :-)

Well, by the totals you've posted not well enough for the amount of
traffic
I see on your host pages.

I think I'd consider that good spending. I hope you tan easily. :)

Good move. Those things seem to be a modern hydra - always growing a
new
head.

I think you've provided a great service. I hope the cards and letters
keep
flowing your way. Were you to suddenly shut everything down for a week
or
two, I think folks would be singing the lines of the song "you never
know
what you've got 'til it's gone".

Thanks.
