Griff, you've had no problems with retarded bloom using Preen? I used it
this spring (first time) on 3 beds, two seedling and 1 reselect. I used roundup,
waited a few days and planted. For some reason I let the first bed set too
long and had to do a roundup after the seedlings were planted. Put mum pots
over the seedlings, sprayed with round up and then used the Preen. I'm very
pleased with the growth in this bed.

The other two beds were very clean when I transplanted and I applied the
Preen as soon as they were finished. These two beds were planted 2-3 weeks later
than the first bed, but are just sitting there with very little growth. I
noticed some minor growth today. I'd been a little concerned that putting the
Preen on so quick might be retarding the growth.

This is my first year to use it so I'm touchy about any variations in growth.
