Patsy -- In my gardens, nutsedge comes back perenially. It also has a long
germinating season. Basagran acts quickly, and kills all the standing sedge
in a very few days. But because of the staggered germination, there'll be
more coming up behind it. The makers recommend that Basagran be applied
again 7-10 days after the first application. I have never experienced any
damage to the iris from using it. -- Griff
