HYB:seed:maturity

Linda, it seems to me that a pod that has been set for 30 days seems  to have 
a very good chance of being viable.  I've had several in the past  that 
sprouted when I'd given them 0% chance!
 
Last year, one of my MEMPHIS MISS crosses (2 pods) had 110 seed that looked  
very immature.  Yet, I have 6 seedlings from this cross lined out.   It's not 
a high percentage but it beats 0, which I expected.
 
This year, I have a seedling cross (2 rebloomers) that broke off after  about 
a month.  It's a cross I really want, and I am quite  disappointed. The seed 
look good!  Won't know for sure until next  spring.  
 
Spotted a stalk on TOTAL RECALL  yesterday.
